Constance "Connie" Arlene Pheifer, formerly of Waterford, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Altoona, Wisconsin.

Connie was born August 17, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Burgess and Florence (Getzky) Besch. She was united in marriage to Frank Pheifer, Jr. on June 6, 1950. Connie and Frank lived a happy and busy life in Waterford, Wisconsin. She was involved in her church (St. Thomas Catholic Church) as well as her children's scouting activities. She enjoyed her vegetable garden and doting over her pet cats and dogs.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Denise) Pheifer, Kathy Pheifer (Bob Ward), Michaelene (Mark) Jansen, Eileen (Scott) Howell and Raelene Pheifer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Gail Eberhardt; many other relatives and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pheifer Jr. in 1991.

The family is very appreciative of the care given to Connie by the staff in the Garden at The Classics at Hillcrest Green and St. Croix Hospice. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her favorite idioms and her love of anything purple.
